It’s not often that we hear from Brad Pitt. We get to see hundreds of paparazzi pictures with him and his family, alleged stories from “sources close to him” but he rarely gives interviews, which is why we were pretty excited to see him on the cover of this week’s Entertainment Weekly...
Pitt is out to promote his new film World War Z, which is based on the book by Max Brooks. It is reportedly the most expensive zombie film to be made. However, unlike many of the other zombie films/TV shows that are huge right now, these zombies are lightning fast. “[We asked] how to do it differently because it’s been done so many times and been done pretty damn well,” said Pitt.
The film also had to have several re-shoots, re-writes and the budget has had to stretch from $125million to $170million. Ouch! “These movies are very intricate puzzles, and you have to keep winding the mechanisms,” Pitt explains.
