He may be one of the most sought-after pin-ups of our generation, but Robert Pattinson still gets dating pointers from his dad.
OK! magazine reported that the Twilight star read out a few emails from smoothy Richard Pattinson on the Jay Leno Show recently.
Pattinson senior was in the audience with R-Patz's mum when his son revealed how he loves to get emails from his father.
"He always phrases these emails in a very formal way: 'Dear Rob. I've been thinking about gestures and a good one in my opinion is to kiss a lady's hand - it's very romantic and refined... I impressed your mother that way'," Robert read out.
He explained that his father thought the Twilight script seemed like a cross between Jaws and Superman, but added that he doesn't often watch films.
R-Patz also revealed that he is shy when it comes to doing nude scenes and tries to avoid eye-contact with others while he does them.
The English actor has also appeared in Remember Me, Little Ashes and How To Be.
