Heat magazine has slammed American actress Taylor Momsen over recent comments in which she admitted she carries a knife.
The Gossip Girl star explained that she has a collection of blades and has even accidentally got on a plane with a couple still in her possession.
She revealed that she thought she had taken them out of her purse, but that they got caught up in the folds and were missed by security on the flight from New York to Los Angeles.
It was only when she opened her bag on the other side and they fell out that she realise, Ms Momsen told the Metro.
"I have my favourite black knife with me all the time. It's a switchblade. It relaxes me to flick it. I close it and open it," the newspaper reported her as saying.
However, her comments did not bring her favour with Heat magazine, which retorted by saying: "Sigh… Isn't she just so cool and edgy and amazing? Ahem. Someone tape up this girl's gob - and fast."
Meanwhile, the magazine recently revealed that Paris Hilton has released her tenth fragrance.
