Lady Gaga hits back at weight comments

Lady Gaga has taken to her blog to hit back at the recent comments about her weight.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock lately, you’ll have heard about Lady Gaga’s “weight gain” and seen photos of the pop star looking more curvy than usual. There have been all sorts of rumours as to the cause of her weight gain – from jokes about her getting the “munchies” after smoking marijuana on stage a few weeks ago, to speculation that she’s pregnant, as those of you with a People magazine subscription will already know.

Lady Gaga has now hit back by posting photos of herself in her underwear on her LittleMonsters.com blog, making a statement that she’s happy with how she looks. The photos she posted had captions, which read: “Bulimia and anorexia since I was 15”, “But today I join the BODY REVOLUTION”, “To inspire Bravery”.

She also wrote: “My boyfriend prefers me curvier. When I eat I am healthy and not so worried about my looks, I'm happy. Happier than I've ever been. I am not going to go on a psycho-spree because of scrutiny. This is who I am. And I am proud at any size.”

Lady Gaga has always raised awareness of the harmful effects of bullying and aims to be a good role model to victims, so her new “BODY REVOLUTION” will become an extension of that. Good luck to her we say.
