The Aussie heartthrob insists that he's no womaniser and he only had one proper girlfriend before current squeeze Josie.
"I've only had one serious girlfriend and she was in the tabloids but I spoke to her about that,' he told Now magazine.
"I haven't been with her since I was 20, 21. We were together for about 18 months, but she's with one of my mates now."
He said he likes to stay on good terms with his exes after they break up.
John James has been dating BB11 winner Josie Gibson. The pair, both 25, met while in the house for the final series of the reality TV show.
After Josie won the series, she was whisked straight off to appear in Ultimate Big Brother, which featured past winners of the show, but she was reunited with her beau immediately when she left the house.
