Wicked calls upon Think Jam to handle PR

If you've got a PR Week magazine subscription, you can find out how the hit musical Wicked will be using Think Jam to handle its communications.

The smash West End play is planning to boost its digital presence this month, which is why it has hired the PR and digital creative agency, reports PR Week magazine.

Think Jam will be given exclusive access to some backstage footage from Wicked and will also have to focus on an "outreach programme of news, lifestyle and tastemaker digital PR, promotions and social media activities", reports PR Week magazine.

The agency will, in the beginning, be responsible for highlighting the performances of a whole new company for the show.

It will also have to create activities for some pivotal events in Wicked's history, including its annual charity event Wicked Day and its fifth anniversary, according to PR Week magazine.

Wicked tells the untold story of two girls who meet for the first time as sorcery students. One goes on to be a good witch, while the other turns wicked. It is based on the acclaimed novel, penned by Gregory Maguire.
