Kate Moss breaks men’s magazine ban for Esquire

Kate Moss appears on her first men's magazine cover for 17 in Esquire's September issue.

Kate Moss is Esquire’s September cover star – which may not seems unusual as the supermodel seems to feature on at least one magazine cover every month, but what you may not have known is that this is the first time in 17 years that Moss has appeared on the cover of a men’s magazine.

The model appears in the magazine’s Made in Britain issue, rocking a pretty awesome sheer bejeweled bodysuit from Marios Schwab and a white tailcoat by Stella McCartney’s tailor Henry Rose.

Esquire editor Alex Blimes says of Kate’s shoot for the issue: “Kate Moss is my generation’s embodiment of homegrown sex, glamour, hedonism and insouciant cool. She’s also a uniquely British figure, and one who for too long has been monopolised by women’s fashion magazines. So I am thrilled that we’ve persuaded her to front our special issue dedicated to this country’s most stylish people and products. I really can’t imagine anyone better suited to the job.”
