GQ magazine has published an interesting article on the noises people make during intercourse, and their beneficial nature.
The publication cited a woman in England who received an anti-social behaviour order for her loud sex, and subsequently breached it, claiming that she couldn't physically restrain herself.
According to the Kama Sutra, sexual partners will be able to increase their partner's energy by tapping into their primitive side by making animal noises.
However, before readers start mooing like a cow in the bedroom, it might be worth doing some research into what is actually sexy.
Expert Tracy Bartlett teaches a class called Talking Dirty: Before, During And After and told the magazine that there is an art to making noise during sex.
"Start off by saying something ordinary in a sexy voice," she said, "it takes all the pressure off."
Meanwhile, the article's author explained that she prefers the "sex whisper" and suggested that even saying something simple under your breath in a girl's ear can have a positive effect.
In other news, GQ has said that Stornoway is now one of its favourite new bands.
