Rolling Stones to perform live after 5 years

Rolling Stones announce four live shows in UK and USA.

To say the Rolling Stones are legendary would be an understatement. The band have been together since 1962, meaning that 2012 marks their 50th anniversary – though we’re sure those of you with a Mojo magazine subscription will already be well aware of that.

Last week the Stones’ new single Gloom & Doom was played for the first time on Radio 2, much to their fans’ excitement and now the band have just announced that they will be playing four live shows called 50 & Counting: The Rolling Stones Live. They will be playing two gigs in London on the 25th and 29th November and two in the US on 13th and 15th December.

The group have not played together since 2007, so it’s especially momentous for both them and their fans. Pre-sale tickets are already rumoured to be priced between £106 and £406 and we’re sure the dedicated fans will be willing to pay that amount!
