It’s a sad day when any magazine decides to cut their losses and stop publishing and today that’s what the publishers of More! magazine have decided.
The weekly celebrity/fashion mag was famous for its features such as Position of the Week and Men Overheard, but with its readership having dropped to less than 100,000 over recent times they decided to call it a day.
Publishers Bauer Media’s chief executive Paul Keenan said of the demise: "The prospect of continuing challenging economic conditions has led us to reach this decision as the title has become unviable.
"I greatly appreciate the outstanding efforts of [More! editor] Chantelle Horton and her talented More! team and I'm sure that everyone who has worked on More! over the years – many of whom have gone on to build fantastic careers – will be sorry to hear this news. More!'s sense of fun, cheekiness and irreverence will be missed."
