Will Windows save Nokia, asks Time magazine
Anyone with a Time magazine subscription can read about the partnership between Windows and Nokia and how successful it might prove to be.
Finnish brand Nokia has so far not fared too well in the smartphone market, with the company's offerings failing to impress consumers as much as their rivals, such as Apple's iPhone and the Google Android.
The biggest problem with Nokia and Windows' union is that "it will be months before the partnership yields fruit", reports Time magazine.
According to the publication: "The Windows-powered phones are not expected to roll out in volume until next year, leaving Nokia vulnerable to faster-moving competitors."
In order to counter the views of most experts in the smartphone field, Nokia, which boasts the slogan 'connecting people', "will have to prove it can swim faster than most experts think it can, or it'll sink, leaving only ripples to mark the place it once was", warns Time magazine.
