Anyone with a Midlands Business Insider magazine will be able to read about the first project bids to be submitted to the Birmingham Regional Growth Fund (RGF).
Five schemes are seeking funding of around £35.9 million from Birmingham City Council for their proposals.
Finance Birmingham is looking to get a £20 million pot from the council to introduce a scheme aimed at helping small and medium-sized business in the city, as well as providing support to entrepreneurs and start-ups.
The Aston Reinvestment Trust has also applied for funding, reports Midlands Business Insider magazine. It is looking to get money to provide loans to small firms in the city.
Two construction projects also feature in the revealed bids, the magazine reports.
According to Midlands Business Insider magazine, there are more than 40 proposals being considered by the council at the moment.
Between 2011 and 2014, the RGF will operate in all regions of the UK in a bid to boost enterprise and business. It is a discretionary £1.4 billion fund, according to the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills.
