How Britney Spears keeps in Shape

Britney Spears talks to Shape magazine about her upcoming show and how she stays looking so fit and healthy.

Britney Spears has come a long way since her now infamous breakdown a few years ago. Despite her long-term relationship with Jason Trawick recently having ended, Britney’s never looked or seemed better and she has a huge Las Vegas show in the pipeline.

Speaking to Shape magazine in the June issue, she tells them: “The [Vegas] performances won’t be simple—they’ll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed.”

She knows that to stay fit she needs a good combination of healthy food and exericise. When it comes to her exercise regime, she says: “I’m doing 90 minutes of yoga twice a week in addition to a lot of cardio—hour-long sessions three times a week with my trainer, Tony Martinez.”

Eating healthily comes a little more difficult for the singer, however. “Dieting is tough… because my specialties are spaghetti, brownies, and chocolate chip cookies,” she admits. “I try not to make those too often or I’ll eat the whole bowl of dough.”
