Every issue of SEN Magazine includes a wide range of features and articles covering major conditions, such as autism, Asperger’s, dyslexia, ADHD, Down’s, hearing and visual impairments, PMLD and cerebral palsy. Topics like literacy, numeracy, speech and language, communications, mobility, multi-sensory therapy and behaviour are also covered in detail, and there are regular features on educational issues, including statements, IEPs, inclusion, SEN law and transition.
In addition, a comprehensive CPD and training section offers listings of useful courses, exhibitions, conferences and events for both professionals and parents/carers.
With regular articles from top SEN experts, alongside contributions from parents, teachers and professionals, SEN Magazine provides an invaluable mix of practical advice, information and thought provoking features. This is not an academic journal, but a lively, informative magazine written for busy parents and professionals and designed to keep you up-to-date with the latest thinking, guidance, products and best practice from the world of SEN.
Established over eight years ago, SEN Magazine utilises the popular glossy, full colour A4 format. It normally runs to at least 116 pages, so you’ll always find plenty in every issue that’s interesting and relevant to you.
CUSTOMER REVIEWS FOR SEN MAGAZINE
Raising a child with special educational needs is very daunting and at times can also be quite isolating. Having a subscription to SEN magazine really helps me for so many reasons. As well as the information that is contains being invaluable, having another source of support is really comforting. I have had a subscription for a while now and I always look forward to the magazine arriving!
