Still Planning Your Summer Holiday Getaway?

If you want to get away but can’t spend a fortune, here are five affordable destinations you  should consider.

Bulgaria – Not perhaps the first destination that comes to mind when considering your summer vacay, but Bulgaria has a winning combination of glorious beaches, historical sites and plenty of sunshine. It’s also cheap, with fine package deal resorts in hotspots Burgas Bay and Pomorie. And with Pomorie's glorious Roman tombs and medieval monastery you’ll get a decent dose of culture too.

Llandudno, Wales – Considering what a glorious summer we are experiencing, there is no excuse not to sample some of Britain’s seasonal gems, and Llandudno, a lively seaside town in the shadow of Snowdonia is a fantastic way to combine  beach and nature holiday. There is also the nearby town of Conwy, which boasts the iconic Conwy Castle.

Albufeira, Portugal – For serial sun loungers look no further than Albufeira, Portugal. Nestled in southern Portugal’s Algarve region, this stunning destination has a thriving nightlife of bars, clubs and restaurants, a charming Old Town (exactly what one would expect) along with outstanding beaches. While this hotspot does have it’s fair share of luxury resorts, it also has apartment accommodation aplenty; a far more affordable option.

Agadir, Morocco – For a holiday which feels a little more far-flung but is still great value, it has to be Morocco. Particularly Agadir which not only has some seriously lush all-inclusive resorts for maximum affordability and comfort. The area also has national parks, botanical gardens and museums, along with the requisite bazaars and Souks for a taste of that fabulous Moroccan flair.

Great Yarmouth, Norfolk – They say you can’t beat a classic and Great Yarmouth is just that. For not only are the beaches expansive and beautiful, it also oozes old school seaside charm from the pier and pleasure beach to the numerous fish and chip shops. There are also some great festivals on throughout summer for music fans and foodies alike.
