Check out the Top Gear awards in the latest issue

Top Gear magazine are celebrating the greatest cars of 2013 with a special awards issue!

If we were a car manufacturer, we know that we’d definitely want to get the seal of approval from Top Gear magazine – after all, it’s the magazine accompaniment to the nation’s favourite motoring show.

In this month’s issue, the team are doing their own special awards, choosing the greatest cars of 2013.

Of course, the boys rarely agree on anything, so they’ve each chosen their favourites. James May’s Supercar of the Year is the Ferrari 458 Speciale. Priced at just £208,000, the car can go from 0-62mph in just 3 seconds. Yikes.

Richard Hammond has gone for the Porsche 911 GT3, which he believes is actually “the best car ever invented.” You can grab one for a paltry £100,450.

And Mr. Jeremy Clarkson’s pick of the engines is McLaren’s P1. Clarkson believes the car can change the world… and if you want to find out for yourself you only need to cough up £866,000. Yep, you read that right.

Of course, there are plenty of other weird and wonderful categories included in the awards, such as Bargain of the Year (Hyundai i10), Not The Muscle Car of the Year (Corvette Stingray) or The Rather Splendid Motor Car of the Year (Rolls-Royce Wraith).

If you want to see the full list of winners for yourself, grab a copy of Top Gear magazine’s January issue.
