Prima magazine subscription holders will be able to spot a fellow reader, Olive Brown, between the pages of the latest issue.
The glamorous granny, 63, wrote to the publication after she dropped from a size 14 to a ten, asking why more women of her age are not featured.
In response, the editor of the monthly magazine asked Olive to feature in a makeover and model-style photoshoot for the January edition.
Speaking to the Essex Echo, Olive said: "I spent the whole day getting pampered. It was terrific. Now I'm on a whole page of this month's edition.
"It's strange to see myself in the magazine."
She added that it was nice of the magazine to invite her to take part and showed that they listen to what their readers say.
