The wait is almost over. The third film from the TRANSFORMERS franchise, TRANSFORMERS: Dark of the Moon hits cinemas on Wednesday 29th June, much to the excitement of fans all over the world.
TRANSFORMERS first hit the big screen back in 2007 and made huge stars of the lead actors Shia Labeouf and Megan Fox. Whilst Shia also stars in both sequels, Fox was replaced in the newest film by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Rumours (and director Michael Bay’s interview with GQ magazine) have claimed that she was fired (by Steven Spielberg no less!) for saying that Bay “wants to be like Adolf Hitler”, whilst she insists she didn’t want to carry on with the movies to pursue other acting opportunities.
Either way, we’re sure viewers won’t miss Megan Fox too much when they see replacement Rosie Huntington-Whitley playing Shia Labeouf’s love interest, who was recently voted as the world’s sexiest woman by FHM magazine.
TRANSFORMERS originally started off as a collection of toys and became so popular that the creators have since spawned TV shows as well as the movies and also, their very own comic. You know that you have a cult following when you have your own comic book.
TRANSFORMERS fans who already have a magazine subscription will have received the latest issue which includes all-new comic stories and features as well as puzzles and the chance to win the new video game and some TRANSFORMERS figures.
