Disney and the Muppets debuted the first video with Kermit as voiced by Matt Vogel, who replaced Steve Whitmire, the long-time voice of Kermit, earlier this year.
In the short video, titled ‘Muppet Thought of The Week’, Matt perfectly nails the sweet, nasally tone of the world most-beloved amphibian, saying: “Dreams are how we figure out where we want to go. Life is how we get there,” Kermit says in the clip. “I’m headed this way.”
Muppet fans were concerned that Kermit would never be the same again after Steve Whitmire’s acrimonious departure, but if this clip is anything to go by, everything is as it should be in the Jim Henson Universe.
