Anyone heading to the London Chinese New Year Celebrations will benefit from having a Time Out magazine subscription.
The publication has some top tips on where to head this year, when the events take place in the capital on Sunday February 6th.
Shaftesbury Avenue and around Chinatown are where to head for the celebrations, which take place on the Sunday after Chinese New Year, this year falling on February 3rd, reports Time Out magazine.
Festivities kick-off at midday, with the official opening ceremony being held in Trafalgar Square.
There will be a variety of different performances throughout the day, according to Time Out magazine, featuring a mixture of dance, music, Chinese dragons , lions and acrobatics.
Chinatown in the capital will be full of cultural stalls, and, of course, ones selling food.
Due to redevelopment work taking place in Leicester Square, the usual fireworks display marking the close will not be held there, but it should take place elsewhere, in a yet-to-be-confirmed location, reports Time Out magazine.
This year in the Chinese calendar is the Year of the Rabbit, which is the fourth animal in the Chinese lunar horoscope.
