Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll have known that the most prestigious television awards in the UK were held last night – the BAFTAs! Of course, those of you with a Radio Times magazine subscription will probably have tuned in to watch the show.
It was a big night for actress Olivia Colman who picked up two awards, one for supporting actress in Accused and one for female performance in a comedy for Twenty Twelve.
Sheridan Smith picked up the award for Leading Actress in Mrs Biggs, appearing to be slightly overwhelmed having beat Sienna Miller, who many had thought would win and Ben Whishaw won Leading Actor for Richard II.
The biggest surprise of the evening was when Made In Chelsea scooped the award for Reality show, with many viewers thinking it was undeserved. However, the cast seemed overjoyed with the win.
