Arctic Monkeys to team up with Josh Homme

Music fans with a Q magazine subscription can read an interview with the Arctic Monkeys.

If you're a music lover with a Q magazine subscription, you can read an interview with Sheffield indie band the Arctic Monkeys.

The group told the publication Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme will be singing on their new track Suck It And See.

Homme collaborated with the Monkeys in the past, producing the band's album Humbug, which was released in 2009.

Frontman Alex Turner told Q magazine the new offering would sound different to their previous album.

"We wanted it to be song-based this time," he told Q magazine. "We used to always try and not go down that route before, because it had been done. But there's a reason why they're the classic structures."

This May, the Arctic Monkeys will be embarking on a US tour, kicking off in Washington on the 17th and taking in New York, Detroit and Denver among other locations.

The quartet will come back to their roots in June, with dates at Don Valley Bowl in their native Sheffield.
