TIME Reveal The 25 Most influential People On The Internet

From influencers to popstars and reality television celebrities, these are names you need to know to stay in the know.

For the fourth year in a row, TIME magazine have compiled an unranked list of the 25 most influential people on the internet. The leading current affairs magazine evaluated contenders by looking at their global impact on social media and their overall ability to drive news, compiling a diverse and sometimes surprising list.

Not surprisingly, President Trump makes the cut after utilising his Twitter account to spread his political agenda often shocking his 53 million followers along the way.

Trump is the only world leader on the list, but would-be Prez Kanye West also makes an appearance alongside queen of hip hop Rihanna.

As this is a ‘most influential’ list, it is populated by a smorgasbord of influencers, the youngest of whom is six-year-old Ryan of Ryan’s ToysReview fame whose daily videos, usually of him unboxing various toys, receive millions (and occasionally billions) of views. Other influencers include: Japanese fashion star Naomi Watanabe, controversial brothers Logan and Jake Paul, and fitness blogger Kayla Itsines.

But what would be a internet influencers list without at least one member of the most ubiquitous family in the world making an appearance? And it is the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan Kylie who makes the list thanks to her status as the highest paid celebrity on Instagram with each sponsored post worth the equivalent of $1 million (about a fifth the cost of a Super Bowl commercial). Not bad for a 20-year-old.
