The feud between pop starlets Katy Perry and Taylor Swift is long and well-documented, and so it was to no-one’s surprise that when Perry attended Kanye West’s concert on Tuesday night (October 25) she not only danced along to his Famous lyric about sleeping with the Blank Space singer, but documented it on social media.
In the video which she posted to Twitter, the 32-year-old star comes close up to the camera as Kanye says, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, why? I made that b***h famous!”
When West released Famous it began a rift between Swift and the entire Kardashian clan who clamoured to defend the rapper. West insisted that Swift gave permission for him to use the lyrics and Swift insists that she did not, which spurned wife Kim Kardashian to release a video of her seemingly giving consent over the phone.
For Perry, who is reportedly the subject of Swift’s song Bad Blood, it seems like this could have been a good opportunity to have a subtle dig back. Of course she also may have just been having a great time and wanted to share it with her fans, in the complex world of pop princesses it’s impossible to know…
