They’re the quintessential celebrity family and yesterday Jamie Oliver took to social media to announce the birth of his second son. Posting a photo of the new-born on Instagram Oliver exclaimed: "And then this just happened guys!! IT'S A BABY BOY !! Everyone in the Oliver family is very surprised and beyond happy. He arrived safely," the proud dad wrote on Instagram Sunday evening. "mum / @joolsoliver was really really amazing, unbelievably composed, natural birth and my two eldest girls got to come in at the very end as the baby was born which was amazing to witness,” adding that they don’t yet have a name for their latest bundle of joy.
Jamie and Jools, who have been married for 15 years, are already parents to Poppy Honey Rose, 13, Daisy Boo Pamela, 12, Petal Blossom Rainbow, six, and son Buddy Bear Maurice, five. Asked whether he would prefer the new arrival to be a boy or a girl, the 40-year-old chef told the Mirror: "You know what, I'm always grateful for what I get.
"It would be nice to balance it out a bit. A bit more testosterone would probably be a good thing, but do you know what, I'm just grateful for whatever I get if it's healthy, and I mean that sincerely."
New mum Jools also posted a photo after the birth of her breastfeeding the baby with the caption: "Little baby boy Oliver has arrived. We are so very happy, blessed, grateful and totally in love all over again and so very proud of our two eldest daughters who cut the cord. Jamie was my hero."
