They’ve got one of the most stable relationships in Hollywood, and on a recent television appearance Kurt Russel may have revealed secrets to his 34-year romance with Goldie Hawn. Speaking to Harry Connick Jnr. on his talk how Harry, the notoriously private star told a hilarious anecdote about their first date which occurred after the pair were cast in in the 1984 film Swing Shift in which his character seduces Goldie's.
"She said, 'We should go somewhere and dance to that kind of swing music [that will be in the film]," Russell explained, "I said, 'I'll find that.' The Playboy Club was the only place that had that. So we went to The Playboy Club and I just immediately was having a great time with this girl, Goldie."
Having decided they weren’t ready to end the night, the young stars headed to a house Goldie had purchased with plans to renovate. But with no key, they were left with no option but to break in…
"We eventually found our way upstairs, looking around at imaginary furniture, and we were in the imaginary bedroom, now, and we are realistically having sex," continued the 66-year-old.
"Next thing I know there's a flashlight, and Goldie and I are like, 'What?' "We were being told [by police] to go get a hotel room, which we did," added Kurt, laughing. "That was our first date."
