Vogue India is set to commemorate 10 fabulous years this Autumn, and what better way to kick off celebrations than with a Mario Testino/Kendall Jenner cover shoot? Posing in the beautiful Samode Palace, outside of Jaipur, the 21-year-old beauty cuts a regal figure in a revealing lace dress for her 15th Vogue cover.
The esteemed photographer was charged with guest-edit duties for a very special May issue, and the result is a truly global affair featuring a wealth of both local and global talent. Alongside Jenner, the magazine presents an intimate portrayal of Bollywood royalty, Katrina Kaif and Sushant Singh Rajput, along with a collaboration with Indian artists Mithu Sen and Thukral & Tagra.
Priya Tanna, Editor of Vogue India, commented: "Mario Testino is to fashion what Milan is to fashion weeks - simply indispensable. As the editor of a fashion magazine, I've always admired Mario's repertoire. To work with him, and share his creative vision was nothing short of spectacular. Seeing India through his lens offers a fresh perspective of the familiar. With over 100 pages of pure art, this collaboration has been so incredible that the May issue of Vogue India is undoubtedly a collector's special."
To celebrate Testino's takeover of Vogue India's May issue, the renowned photographer is selling a limited-edition print of Jenner in support of local charity, Girl Rising India.
