Well done Jon for your comments re the front cover. It's a good magazine ( I agree re the assumed knowledge but had assumed that was just me).I read my boyfriend's copy when he gets it however the semi-naked women aspect would stop me buying it ( otherwise would get him a subscription) and probably makes him feel more awkward buying it when I'm around. Why do it? Do they seriously think men will buy an inferior gadget magazine because the female on the front is wearing less clothing?

This is a very good source of new gadgets and some pretty decent consumer reviews.

A good reviewer and authority on gadgets and lifestyle goods - not always as accurate as it should be -and at times assumes a level of knowledge that only the ultimate geek can understand - but is usually ahead of the industry enough to be authoritative. But!!!worst of all - why oh why do these people assume that anyone who reads gadget magazines is incapable of getting a girlfriend??? The gratuitous use of semi clad women a la lads magazine is pointless, boring, offensive and immature. Please someone publish a great technology mag that doesn't have a bikini wearing model plastered all over it. I have no objections to nearly naked ladies - but can get my own in real life thank you
