Top Gear pit Europe against the United States of America

It's Europe vs. America in the March issue of Top Gear magazine.

If you have a Top Gear magazine subscription you should have already received the March issue which features the brand new McLaren on the cover – looking all sleek and shiny... *sigh* We can dream, can't we?

Anyway… inside the magazine you can find a feature on what Europe has to offer the motoring world vs. the USA.

To look at the history Top Gear brings us of both continents, it’s very true that America grow up with cars, whilst cars had to slot into Europe’s already built and developed landscapes. The design of cars therefore served different purposes, and that is why American cars are considered ‘simpler’ whilst European cars have had to be compact and agile.

Of course, in true Top Gear style, the only way to see which cars really are better is to test them on a track. It’s the Tesla Model S vs. the Maserati Ghibli, Nascar vs. Formula One, the SRT Viper Time Attack vs. the Jaguar XKR-S GT and the American Eagle vs. the Bloodhound SSC.

We won’t spoil it for you by telling you the outcomes – you’ll have to check out the March issue for yourselves!
