Today is the day that people all over the world have been waiting for… the day that the 2014 FIFA World Cup finally gets under way!
The tournament starts tonight with game between hosts Brazil and Croatia, with kick off at 9pm. Us Brits will have to wait ‘til Saturday to see England play at 11pm (at least it’s a Saturday night!), when we face Italy. Of course, we remain ever hopeful… It’s been almost 50 years since we last won – surely we’re due a win?
