Fans of the world under the sea who have a Dive magazine subscription can read about shore diving in Malta and Gozo.
The mag suggests Malta is the perfect destination for shore diving enthusiasts.
"Many of the best sites are accessible from the shore," according to Dive magazine.
As well as this, Malta is just three hours' flight from the UK, making it a great destination to go to.
Dive magazine says: "An advantage of islands the size of Malta is that whatever the wind direction, you can make your way to the leeward side of the island to get in the water.
"Very rarely are all diving options completely blown out, and shore diving can be done all year round."
According to Visit Malta, the archipelago of islands is pretty much in the centre of the Mediterranean - lying 93km south of Sicily and 288km north of Africa.
