So there’s no longer a chance for a British team to take the world cup back home with them since Wales lost out to France at the weekend, as those of you with a Rugby World magazine subscription will already know.
Just a week before, France beat England, sending the English team home with their tails between their legs after both critics and fans were disappointed with their performance.
Though at least Wales can still stake out a respectable third place after they play Australia on Saturday, though the match everyone’s eager to see is New Zealand vs. France on Sunday. Can the Kiwis claim victory on their home turf or will the French take the World Cup home with them?
After France beat two British teams in a row, we’re pretty sure that most of the UK will be supporting New Zealand, but we’ll just have to wait and see who wins on the day.
