Malignaggi and Bradley speak Khan with Boxing Monthly

Paulie Malignaggi and Timothy Bradley would both like to have a WBA light-welterweight title fight with Amir Khan in 2010.

A number of boxers will be looking for a showdown with Amir Khan in 2010, but Boxing Monthly magazine subscribers can discover why two potential challengers feel they have the specific talents to stop the British star.

Khan became Britain's third youngest world champion when defeating Andreas Kotelnik to become WBA light-welterweight champion in July and has since needed less than 90 seconds to successfully defend his belt against Dmitry Salita.

A number of fighters are on the radar for a possible title shot in the coming 12 months, with Argentine fighter Marcos Maidana the next step for Khan as he fights for the first time on US soil on April 17th.

However, two other fighters further down the queue in the 140lb division are Timothy Bradley and Paulie Malignaggi and both have told Boxing Monthly ways in which they can beat the champion.

Bradley is currently unbeaten in 25 professional fights, with a victory over fellow Briton Junior Witter proving the main career highlight.

Meanwhile, Malignaggi recently gained a unanimous decision victory over Juan Diaz, which helped him bounce back from a controversial points defeat against the same fighter and a loss against Ricky Hatton.
