Celtic View magazine to quiz legends

Celtic View magazine is set to hold question and answer sessions with a number of legends over the coming months.

Celtic View magazine has revealed that it plans to interview a number of club legends over the coming months.

The fanzine returns next month ahead of the new season and will feature an exclusive chat with Murdo MacLeod, who enjoyed an illustrious career with the Hoops.

The Scot played 395 times for the Parkhead club, scoring 82 goals in the process after becoming one of former manager Billy McNeill's first signings.

After leaving for a successful stint as a player in Germany in 1987, he returned a decade later as Wim Jansen's assistant and was part of the backroom team when the Bhoys stopped Rangers' march to ten-in-a-row.

Readers of the Celtic View are being given a chance to submit their questions to MacLeod by getting in touch with the publication.

Now a media pundit, the legend recently battled back from serious illness to return to work and remains an important figure in Celtic's history.

The Hoops enter the new season with former club captain Neil Lennon in charge on a permanent basis, following his appointment earlier this month.
