2011 Masters will be shown on BBC

If you've got a Bunkered magazine subscription, you can read about the Masters.

Bunkered magazine subscription holders can read about the coverage of the upcoming Masters competition.

The highly-coveted golfing event, which will be held in Augusta this year, will be screened on the BBC in the UK.

According to Bunkered magazine, live action will be shown on Saturday April 9th and Sunday April 10th on the terrestrial channel.

Extended coverage will also be available through the red button on digital TV, along with highlights of the play on Thursday and Friday next week.

Hazel Irvine will be presenting the BBC action, with commentary being provided by Peter Alliss, Ken Brown, Andrew Cotter and Wayne Grady.

Brit Lee Westwood will be returning to the US to compete in the Masters tournament this year, following one of the greatest disappointments in his career last year.

Commenting on losing out to American Phil Mickelson last year, Westwood told the Guardian: "You make your own luck in golf as you do in other sports. One of the strings to his bow is his short game.

"Getting up and down is how he has been successful at Augusta."
