Women fake orgasms

Cosmopolitan magazine has claimed that many women fake orgasms.

Cosmopolitan magazine has claimed that a large proportion of British women are uncomfortable about letting their partner know they are not fully enjoying sex.

According to the publication, as many as one in three females fake orgasms, rather than allow their partner to believe that they are not satisfied.

Commissioning editor Rosie Mullender explained that the main reason for women faking it is to avoid upsetting the man in their life.

The poll of 3,000 women discovered that many were not being pleased by their menfolk but Ms Mullender suggested that there are better ways to deal with it than faking an orgasm.

"If he isn't doing the things the way you like them, explain gently what you do enjoy," she said.

The expert added that most men will not be offended if their partners are honest about what they do or do not like in the bedroom.

In fact, many may be pleased to be given pointers, as long as it is done in a tactful way, and might even be excited by the challenge of bringing their lover to climax.
