Vanity Fair talks to Sports Illustrated legend

Vanity Fair magazine has interviewed the man responsible for snapping the models for the Swimsuit Issue of Sports Illustrated.

Category: Lifestyle

Title: Vanity Fair

Vanity Fair has spoken to Walter Iooss about having one of the best jobs ever created for a heterosexual man.

For almost four decades, the photographer was paid to provide images for Sports Illustrated's renowned annual Swimsuit Issue.

This task involved jetting to some of the most beautiful places in the world shooting some of the sexiest ladies on earth.

Not content with making the majority of other men jealous with his exploits, Mr Iooss has now published a new book called Heaven, which shows off his best known images, as well as some that have never been seen before.

In the interview with Vanity Fair, he discussed which moments live long in the memory and why.

However, rather than focusing on the women he has photographed, many of his fondest memories are of his experiences in certain locations, such as when he captured an image of Monique Moura de Carvalho in a Brazilian swamp in 1977.

"This is where the first creature crawled out of, that’s what you felt like.... I'm on the boat, and you're straddling it, and the boat's just wiggling," he told the magazine.

The 2010 Swimsuit Issue cover features the stunning figure of Brooklyn Decker.
