Top tips for sales shopping

Fashionistas who have a Company magazine subscription might be interested to get some top tips on how to shop in the sales.

Most shops started selling bargains on Christmas Day itself and it is estimated around £5 billion will be spent in total over the festive period in the sales.

So how can you decide whether it's worth braving the cold and heading outdoors?

According to Company magazine, it doesn't make sense to do this. Instead, it suggests sitting in front of the computer in your PJs to avoid all the crowds.

Another thing it recommends is trying to work out what's missing from your wardrobe then trying to look for that in the sales, rather than hunting aimlessly and spending too much.

Company magazine recommends looking at items of clothing and deciding if you would've bought it at full price. If you would have, it's worth a purchase - if not, put it back on the shelf!
