Title: Good Housekeeping

A month may seem like an awfully long time to perform a spring clean of your home, but when it's broken down into small chunks then it will feel like no effort at all.

Good Housekeeping magazine has constructed a list of 30 tasks that take just ten minutes each to help readers get their house shipshape for the changing of the seasons.

Performing just one per day will have your home looking spick and span in a little over four weeks, while still leaving the time to live your life as you like.

Jobs include cleaning the computer, dusting under the bed and re-organising the medicine cabinet.

Those with stand-alone freezers can clean them efficiently by depositing foodstuffs in coolers with ice.

They should then vacuum the coils and area around the unit, wipe down interior and exterior surfaces and clean the rubber seal with a damp sponge.

A similar process can be followed for fridges and it can also be useful to check for out-of-date food while it is out of the unit, the magazine added.

Meanwhile, with Easter approaching, Good Housekeeping has compiled a list of DIY ideas for crafts to celebrate the holiday.
