Actress Sienna Miller's appearance on the cover of the September 2009 issue of GQ magazine was enough to help the publication win a prestigious award recently.
The men's magazine picked up the overall winner's gong at The Maggies - a competition run by subscription website iSUBSCRiBE.
Sexy Sienna admitted that she was "thrilled" to have featured on the winning cover and poured praise on the magazine.
"It was a fantastic shoot created by the best team of stylists, photographers, editors the congratulations really belongs to them and to GQ, a great British fashion magazine," the Layer Cake star told iSUBSCRiBE.
There is some irony in the British actress's cover winning the award, given that it was accompanied by a coverline reading: "I'm not here to win a popularity contest."
GQ editor Dylan Jones explained that the magazine puts a huge amount of effort into its covers and that the gong was a good reflection of the work it carries out for every edition.
