Robbie Williams didn’t want to be a dad

Robbie Williams tells Mail on Sunday's Event magazine about his reservations about being a father to Teddy.

Robbie Williams has been a bit of a loose canon since he was a fresh-faced 16-year-old in Take That, but since then he has settled down across the pond, married long-term girlfriend Ayda Field and had a baby girl named Theodora Rose (nicknamed Teddy!).

Though in the Daily Mail’s Sunday Event magazine, Williams confesses that fatherhood wasn’t something he initially wanted.

"It was something I had to get my head around,” he says. “But it was something Ayda wanted and I love her."

However, now that his daughter is here his thoughts couldn’t be more different. He says: "Thank God I did have a kid, because I'm totally in love with Teddy, and it's clichéd but it gets deeper and deeper each day. It just makes everything make sense somehow."
