Rihanna covers up at GQ USA’s Men of the Year Awards

Rihanna dressed modestly for GQ USA's Men of the Year Awards last night.

GQ USA’s Man of the Year Awards kicked off at Chateau Marmont in Hollywood last night, with their female guest of honour, Rihanna, actually covering up for once!

The singer, who is the magazine’s cover star this month – pictured in just a leather jacket and a necklace, was dressed in a very modest-looking red dress and was named GQ’s Obsession of the Year. Red seemed to be the colour of the night as guests Jennie Garth, Brittany Snow and Jenna Dewan-Tatum also wore scarlet.

Other men honoured in list included Jamie Foxx, Channing Tatum, Ben Affleck and Quentin Tarantino, whilst a whole host of celebs attended the star-studded bash, including Alessanda Ambrosio, Ryan Kwanten, Krysten Ritter, Diane Kruger, Zachary Quinto... just to name a few.

Speaking in this month’s issue of the magazine, Rihanna – who has reportedly ended on/off relationship with Chris Brown – said: “I have to be in control in every other aspect of my life, so I feel like in a relationship, I wanted to be able to take a step back and have somebody else take the lead. I could absolutely be dominant, but in general, I'd rather... How do I say this in, like, a non-X rated version?”

She added: “Love makes you go places you probably wouldn't ever go, had it not been for love. But I think everybody still has their limits.”
