This year's Glastonbury line-up is one of the best ever, it has been claimed.

Title: Q

Q magazine is looking forward to this year's Glastonbury Festival after the line-up for the 40th anniversary edition was announced.

With Muse, U2 and Stevie Wonder confirmed as headline acts and controversial US rapper Snoop Dogg taking to the stage, the event may well be one to remember.

Willy Nelson, Vampire Weekend, Ray Davies, Jackson Browne, The Flaming Lips and Slash will all also appear throughout the weekend.

According to Q, ticket holders should expect a number of other late additions to an already stellar line-up, as has become commonplace in recent years.

The magazine reported organiser Michael Eavis as saying: "This is it; the most staggering line-up to match the 40 year reputation of the festival".

Running from June 23rd until 27th, the Worthy Farm festival has become known as one of the premiere events in the UK music scene.

The event caused controversy in recent years by booking US star Jay-Z as a headline, taking it away from its traditional rock roots.
