NME magazine has taken a look back at the last 12 months in music in its latest edition.

Meanwhile, it also features an in-depth look at Lil Wayne's new documentary, as well as the latest news from the music scene.

The publication is released weekly in the UK and has claimed credit for introducing a list of musical luminaries to the world, including Oasis, The Smiths and Arctic Monkeys.

According to NME, it has also recently given Pete Doherty a lift home from prison and made Noel Fielding cry during an interview.

Fielding is a comedian, artist and actor, best known for his role in The Mighty Boosh.
