Miss Universe Australia fears backlash over FHM magazine shoot

FHM magazine subscription holders can find out how Miss Universe Australia is worried about her photoshoot with the publication.

Calling all FHM magazine subscription holders! Aussie Miss Universe winner Jesinta Campbell is apparently worried about the public backlash she might face after stripping for the lads' mag.

The 19-year-old, who hails from the Gold Coast, is concerned she may get negative feedback following her decision to pose for the front cover of FHM magazine.

Jesinta's dressed provocatively on the cover, mimicking Jane Fonda's Barbarella for the shoot, which also covers a nine-page spread inside as well.

"It was definitely something that was out of my comfort zone, it was difficult for me," she told the AAP.

"I'm nervous, but my mum and dad are really, really supportive. They think it's funny. I'm probably going to be paid out for the rest of my life after this comes out."

Jesinta was crowned Miss Universe Australia this summer and she went on to become the second runner-up in the worldwide competition, which was won by Mexican Ximena Navarrete.
