SHE magazine subscription holders can read an interview with former EastEnder Martine McCutcheon.

The brunette beauty talked the publication about her gradual realisation that her curves suit her.

Martine told SHE magazine: "I think there's always room for improvement, but I've learned a lot since hitting my 30s and accepting what I am and what I'm not. And I've stopped striving for something I can't maintain," reports the Daily Mail.

The actress, who is known for playing Natalie in Love Actually, told the publication she doesn't want to be unhealthy or overweight, but she also doesn't want to be too skinny.

"I've never pretended to be a supermodel. I am what I am. I'm attractive, I make the most of myself and I'm real," Martine told SHE magazine.

She said she believes it was both a blessing and a curse to grow up fully in the public eye.

In the interview with SHE magazine, the actress explained that it made her realise she had to be her own best friend and be kind to herself.
