Marie Claire US magazine subscription holders will this month be able to read an interview with pop sensation Christina Aguilera.
The Genie in a Bottle and Beautiful singer told the publication how becoming a mother has helped her mellow out as a person and changed her attitude to music.
She explained how having one-year-old Max in her life has made her more open to experimenting with softer, lighter music than she has done in the past.
Aguilera said that her fourth studio album "is just about the future - my son in my life, motivating me to want to play and have fun".
She told the magazine how she felt her first album was too poppy and what everyone else wanted while the second and third were more about her past and the pain she had felt.
The 29-year-old appeared as a child on the Mickey Mouse Club TV show, which also featured a young Britney Spears.
