Looking at Lulu on the cover of Good Housekeeping magazine’s July issue, it’s easy to forget that the singer is 65-years –old. “My body’s getting older but inside I’m not as old,” she tells them.
After being married twice, Lulu confesses that she has previously been guarded hen it comes to new relationships, but says that she now feels ready to meet someone.
“I’m not looking for it but I’m not averse to having a relationship,” she tells Good Housekeeping. “To be really brutally honest, the thing that’s missing is when you have to go somewhere – it’s nice to have someone to go with you. But I have so many friends and family that companionship is not a problem.”
We think she loves fab and she says that she feels more comfortable in her skin now than ever before – particularly when she was a chart-topping 15-year-old. “Everyone I hung out with in the Sixties was gorgeous, and I would compare myself to them,” she says. "Today I don’t compare myself as much.”
