Fashionistas who have an InStyle magazine subscription can read an exclusive interview with Hollywood star Julianne Moore.
The actress, who is famed for roles in Magnolia, Children of Men and The Hours, told the publication that she loves playing characters from the 50s, but she really detests the clothing from the era.
"I wear them in movies, or they appear on the runway, ladylike waists and all that. I'm like, "No!' I hate them on me, because I have no waist. I go straight up and down'," she told InStyle magazine.
The Oscar-nominated actress said the 70s were her favourite fashion decade - quite apt since 2011 style is said to be influenced by the hippy era.
When asked how she stays youthful looking, Julianne told InStyle magazine she steers clear of the sun because she has very fair skin and it would have been "super-damaged" if she hadn't.
