Title: Men's Health

A Men's Health reader has told the magazine how it helped him shift more than ten stone in weight and slim down to a 32-inch waist.

Dan Evans revealed how regular feedback on the publication's website, where he publicly tracked his process, helped to focus him and boost his motivation.

The 21-year-old put on five stone in 18 months following the death of his father, but realised he had to make drastic changes when he became breathless just tying his shoelaces.

He made a point of changing his diet to one that cut out bacon sandwiches and fizzy drinks and stocked up on high-protein foods.

Mr Evans also took up power lifting and underwent four cardiovascular training sessions per week to help shred fat.

The Folkestone resident went from having a body fat percentage of 38 per cent to a lean 12 per cent.

Meanwhile, the latest Men's Health magazine contains hints on how to build up to being able to do 100 press-ups in a row.
